Professor Alec Gillies is a 26 year old black belt from Pasadena, California. Alec was Professor Orlando Sanchez's first kids class student at Gracie Barra Pasadena, as well as his last black belt before his tragic passing.

Alec has been doing Jiujitsu for the past 18 years, coaching Jiujitsu for the past 10 years and has been a black belt for the last three years.

Alec has competed and won multiple tournaments, including IBJJF NOGIs worlds and JJWL worlds. As one of the original GBLCF coaches, Alec is ecstatic to come back and continue the legacy that Professor Orlando left, Alec knows how to make kids classes a blast, as well as help kids retain information as best as possible because he was once in the kids program himself. Alec is excited to bring GB LCF to the next level with his years of BJJ knowledge and experience.
